Department of Church Music
The church music course is designed to equip men and ladies to lead music programs in the local church and in Christian elementary schools. The student graduates with a double major in Bible (at least forty-one hours of Bible classes) and church music (forty hours of music).
Note: The music major must take at least six hours of
personal lessons in his or her proficiency, (i.e. voice, piano, instruments, etc) two of these (semesters) must be during his or her senior year.
Note: Students with proficiencies in piano, organ, or instruments must take two semesters (two hours total) methods class in that proficiency.

Men earn at least forty-one hours of Bible as well as the music courses necessary to effectively serve in a church or Christian School. The Church and School Music for Men curriculum includes the following requirements:
